The Darby Singers are a choir dedicated to serving the community. We are based in Telford Shropshire and our roots were founded at the Abraham Darby Academy in 1997, but in 2022 we moved to our new rehearsal venue at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (The White Church) in Lawley, which is shown below for anyone who wants to find us!

Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings starting promptly at 7:15pm. The Church is open at 6:45pm to give members the chance to catch up with each other before the rehearsal begins. This half-hour is the ideal opportunity for newcomers to get to know their fellow singers, both established and new.

If you want a diary full of exciting events to look forward to, in company with a bunch of fabulous people, and need your hearts and spirits lifting – why not contact us via email?

Recruitment takes place throughout the year

Everyone is welcome to come and sing in this established Community Choir. You do not need any experience or the ability to read music. Choir members pay £20 per term which goes towards the cost of the Musical Director and purchase of music/other musical items. Concessions may be available in certain circumstances.
