The Darby Singers are well known in the local community, who we serve, and consequently we perform at a lot of events, large and small, both singularly and in conjunction with other groups.
We are a large group, so it is important that we all work together as a team, mindful of our own obligations and also our obligation to look after each other.
For this reason, the Committee have agreed a set of standards which each member will be asked to sign up to on joining the Darby Singers.
These standards cover:
- Performance standards – including dress code
- Rehearsal standards
- Fitness to attend rehearsals/performances – protecting the clinically vulnerable
- Care of choir music
- Inter-choir communication policies and dissemination of music
These standards are reviewed regularly and adjusted as required.
